1. Introduction

Welcome to eScience, an educational platform providing Science classes and related learning services.

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of www.escience.lk, including student registration, online and physical classes, recorded lessons, downloadable study materials, student dashboards, and online payments.

By accessing the website, registering an account, or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the relevant services.

2. Services Offered

eScience may provide:

• Science classes for school grades.
• Online and live teaching sessions.
• Physical classes, where available.
• Recorded lessons and educational videos.
• Downloadable study notes and revision materials.
• Student dashboards and class timetables.
• Tutor messages and educational updates.
• Monthly class payment facilities.

The availability, schedule, price, and access conditions of each service will be communicated through the website or relevant registration and payment channels.

3. Student Registration

Students may be required to register by providing information such as their full name, grade, subject, address, district, mobile number, WhatsApp number, and parent or guardian contact number.

Users must provide accurate information and update it when necessary.

Where required by law, registration and transactions involving children must be completed with appropriate parental or guardian consent.

We may request additional information when necessary to verify registration, resolve an account issue, or protect the security of the platform.

4. Student Accounts and Login Security

Students may access certain learning features through a registered account and mobile-number verification.

Users are responsible for keeping their account information and verification codes confidential.

You must not attempt to access another person's account, bypass authentication, interfere with the website, or misuse the platform.

Please contact eScience if you suspect that an account has been accessed without authorization.

5. Class Fees and Payments

Class fees and other applicable charges will be displayed or communicated before payment.

The website currently displays a monthly class fee of LKR 1,500 for the relevant service. The applicable fee should always be confirmed on the current website or payment screen before completing a transaction.

Payments may be made through PayHere or another authorized payment method made available by eScience.

By proceeding with a payment, the payer authorizes the relevant payment provider to process the transaction for the selected service.

A payment is treated as confirmed when successful payment status has been received or verified.

If money is debited but the student's class access is not activated, please contact us with the transaction reference so that we can investigate.

6. Monthly Class Access

Monthly class payments relate to the class or service period communicated at the time of purchase.

Students should ensure that they have selected the correct grade, subject, and class arrangement before paying.

Access to paid classes may depend on successful payment verification and the applicable enrolment conditions.

A new monthly payment may be required to continue classes into a subsequent billing period. Any applicable payment deadlines and access conditions should be communicated clearly to students or their parents.

A payment does not automatically entitle the student to access unrelated courses or services that were not included in the purchase.

7. Online Classes and Technical Requirements

Students attending online classes are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection, and the software required to participate.

Class links and schedules may be provided through the student dashboard, tutor messages, or other authorized communication channels.

Students should follow the published timetable and join sessions on time.

Temporary technical interruptions may occur due to internet connectivity, third-party services, maintenance, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where a class cannot be delivered as planned, we will communicate any replacement or alternative arrangement where reasonably possible.

8. Recorded Lessons and Study Materials

Recorded lessons and downloadable educational resources are provided to support students' learning.

Access to particular materials may depend on enrolment, payment status, grade, subject, or other applicable service conditions.

Unless expressly authorized, students must not reproduce, redistribute, publish, sell, or commercially share paid educational materials, recorded lessons, or class access links.

Materials should be used for personal educational purposes and in accordance with the applicable intellectual-property rights.

9. Student Conduct

Students are expected to behave respectfully toward teachers, staff, and other students.

Users must not:

• Disrupt online or physical classes.
• Harass or threaten other users.
• Share another student's personal information without authorization.
• Misuse class links, accounts, or verification codes.
• Attempt to interfere with website security or operation.
• Copy or distribute protected learning materials without permission.
• Use the platform for unlawful purposes.

Where necessary, eScience may take reasonable action to address misconduct or protect the learning environment, subject to applicable law and any relevant student or parent rights.

10. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, original website content, teaching materials, graphics, recorded lessons, and platform content are owned by or lawfully used by their respective rights holders.

Access to these materials does not transfer ownership to the student.
